…U.S. experts will work alongside United Disabled Persons of Kenya (UDPK), a leading DPO in Kenya to conduct a five-day intensive training in Kenya. Kenya is one of the RightsNow! countries in which participants will examine national and international laws and policies, identify principles of effective legislation, explore tactics for advocacy, and create collaborative action plans to promote enforcement of laws to protect disability rights. — From MIUSA’s website.

Above is a beautifully designed circular ramp that leads to the Rümlang train station.

Below is TIXI Zürich. A transportation service for people who can’t use public transit. The drivers are all volunteer. Currently their wheelchair-accessible fleet consists of 28 Renault Kangoos and a VW Caddy.

The back of the vehicle with the door closed. There is a large picture of a wheelchair user on it.
