Do More Than Worry About Disability Rights — Fuel Our Fight This #GivingTuesday

Giving Tuesday
In case you have not heard, #GivingTuesday is an annual global day of giving that celebrates generosity and kindness.

As disability civil rights advocates — and people with disabilities — we remain profoundly worried about health care and education (among other issues). We know you are, too.

Please support our goal to match the $10,000 combined gifts of two longtime donors by donating here! (Just write "Match" in the Message line.) Donations received through 11/29/16 will be applied to the match. If you want to give in honor or memory of someone you care about, let us know. Everything we do that says, "We're in this together," will sustain us.

We are going to do more than worry about the lives of children and adults with disabilities (and our families):

We’re going to defend the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare!), Medicaid, and Medicare.

We’re going to defend the values of inclusion and fairness.

We’re banding together for the long haul.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has already donated — many, via monthly donations — in the last 2 weeks, and to all who have made DREDF your beneficiary in the AmazonSmile program.

Again: Thank you!

I need to get help with my disability. I have been trying since 2008. I have been raped four times, homeless, still homeless, and in need of physical and mental help. Through the course of all of this, I have no income to maintain either. Please help me. I NEED MY Disability !
