Compounded Disparities: Health Equity at the Intersection of Disability, Race, and Ethnicity

In 2017, The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM) convened a Roundtable workshop on The Intersections Among Health Disparities, Health Equity, and Health Literacy and commissioned a paper to be presented at the workshop. DREDF was selected to lead the team that would write the paper, entitled Compounded Disparities: Health Equity at the Intersection of Disability, Race, and Ethnicity (PDF). In addition to DREDF’s senior attorney, Silvia Yee and Senior Policy Advisor, Mary Lou Breslin, co-authors include Tawara D.
