Nicolie Bolster

Nicolie Bolster, DREDF’s Legal Secretary since 2002, is the mother of a daughter in high school, and a young adult son with a learning disability who has completed a college certificate as a technical theater professional and continues his college studies for a 4–year degree in technical theater design. A Native Californian and graduate of the University of California at Berkeley majoring in Social Welfare, Ms. Bolster completed the first cohort of the Special Education Advocacy (SEAT) Program studies and internship through the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) and the UCEDD of the University of Southern California. Ms. Bolster has three decades of business experience primarily in banking as a lending officer, legal investigator, paralegal and regulatory compliance analyst, selling consumer goods and life insurance, and managing photographic and printing services. Her personal interests include involvement in school activities, supporting theatrical productions as a “Technical Theater Mom”, calligraphy, sewing and photography.
