David is a Policy Intern at DREDF. He is a rising senior at Brandeis University, where he is concurrently pursuing a Master in Public Policy and has been recognized for his ongoing efforts to improve accessibility and advance disability inclusion on campus. An aspiring public servant with cerebral palsy, David believes that all policy is disability policy, but is particularly passionate about advancing disability access in the areas of employment, voting, and housing.
Recently, David completed a yearlong fellowship at the Lurie Institute for Disability Policy, where he contributed to a joint qualitative research study between DREDF and Lurie’s Community Living Policy Center. Under the mentorship of DREDF’s Mary Lou Breslin, David gained substantive research experience in investigating promising practices for increasing the availability of affordable, accessible housing. David is thrilled to join the policy team at DREDF and continue supporting Mary Lou’s crucial research.
