Diana Vega joined DREDF as a Bilingual Educational Equity Advocate in 2019 and is now the Director of Operations at the Disability Rights Education & Defense Fund (DREDF). Diana is proud to be Latina and has always had a passion for social justice. She is the mother of a child with disabilities. In addition, Diana is a former Spanish teacher and consults as a translator. Her purpose is to advocate and ensure that all children have equal access to education and, eventually, become part of society.
She serves as a parent representative on the Medi-Cal Managed Care Advisory Panel, a position she has enjoyed since 2017.
