Michelle Uzeta

Michelle Uzeta is an attorney who has specialized in civil rights law since 1993, with a particular emphasis on disability rights and fair housing litigation. Michelle has years of experience working in private practice and previously served as the Legal Director of the Disability Rights Legal Center, the Litigation Director at the Southern California Housing Rights Center, and an Associate Managing Attorney at Disability Rights California.

Michelle’s practice has focused on the litigation of high-impact lawsuits and representation of individuals facing discrimination under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504, Fair Housing Amendments Act, and related state laws. In addition to her role as a litigator, Michelle has lectured and written extensively on the legal rights of people with disabilities and has authored a number of amicus briefs on disability rights issues.

Michelle is a graduate of Stanford University and earned her Juris Doctorate from King Hall School of Law at the University of California, Davis.
