Angela joined DREDF as an Education Advocate in January 2023. In her role, Angela works to make a difference in the lives of students with disabilities and their parents by supporting their advocacy for choice and opportunity.
As a parent, she’s seen how opportunities and options for students with disabilities are not presented in the same way as their non-disabled peers. By fighting against low expectations and for greater communication from schools, Angela brings a personal and professional passion to close all too common gaps in the educational system.
Angela has a Bachelor’s in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix and was a Behavioral Science Specialist in the U.S. Army. She has a strong interest in the arts and enjoys painting.
