Jinny Kim is the Managing Attorney at DREDF and litigates individual and systemic disability cases. Jinny started her legal career at Legal Aid at Work as the Félix Velarde-Muñoz Fellow where she litigated race, disability, national origin and gender cases. Thereafter, she was a Georgetown Women’s Law and Public Policy Fellow and served as Labor Counsel to Senator Edward Kennedy on the Committee for Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. Jinny returned to Legal Aid at Work in 2008 and served as the Director of the Disability Rights Program from 2014 to 2022. Jinny was a supervising attorney at Disability Rights Advocates from 2022 until February 2025. Jinny has also held positions at the Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach, as well as Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky LLP, and Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian & Ho. Jinny received her J.D. from the University of California, Davis and her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
